The State intends to make at least 18 million from the sale of this real estate complex

It’s time for great public real estate sales in Toulouse. A few months ago, a plot of land of 1,200 m² in the heart of Toulouse was sold at auction by the regional public finance department on behalf of the State. At almost 8 million euros, according to local media, this land has become the most expensive in the city and is about to host a building with 30 very high-end housing units.. This time, it is a tertiary real estate complex already in place that the State has just put up for sale in the pink city.

This administrative city for sale is an exceptional property in many respects, mainly due to its dimensions: 30,666 m² of floor space divided into several buildings built on a plot of 17,354 m². All in the heart of the city since this complex is bordered by the historic bastion of Toulouse. Most of the built-up area consists of offices, but the site also has an inter-administrative restaurant, a loggia and a vast wooded park in the heart of the block with its circular swimming pool.

The tax as a neighbor

On the architectural side, the buildings that were designed in general in the 1960s are the work of the architects Louis Hoym de Marien, Grand Prix de Rome, and Paul de Noyers, regional architect of the PTT, author of numerous public structures. according to the description available on the state real estate transfer website. The latter specifies: “This complex has a rare potential because of its location in the heart of the city of Toulouse.”

The sale will be made by tender, knowing that the minimum price has been set at 18 million euros. The deadline for the receipt of offers is set for September 16, 2024. Note: the buyer must agree to maintain an administrative neighbor, probably the fee. The State retains ownership of building D of this complex, unaffected by the sale and currently occupied by public finances.
