U Xiaomi enter the flip-style market with the Mix Flip which has a large external screen and a huge battery.
Starting with the external display, it measures 4.01 inches and matches the Motorola Razr + 2024 as the largest in the class. Xiaomi calls it the All Around Liquid external display, and it offers a 16:9 operating area to run full apps or just place widgets.
The 4,780 mAh battery is also huge for the class. It’s also almost the fastest charging at 67W HyperCharge.
Opening the Mix Flip reveals another great display – a 6.86-inch 120Hz OLED display with 3,000 nits of maximum brightness.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and has a 3500mm² steam chamber for cooling.
There are two 50MP cameras built into the external display. The main one is a 50MP f/1.7 unit with 1.0µm binned pixels and 13.5 stops of dynamic range.
The other camera is a 50MP f / 2.0 with a focal length of 46mm – or 2x zoom. It has a floating lens, which means it can focus up to 9 cm.
Using the mechanical hinge, you can use the cameras on the Xiaomi Mix Flip at any angle between 45 ° and 135 °.
