U Xiaomi 15 Ultra may arrive earlier than previous corresponding models and rumors want that it brings a significant update in the camera sector, using a telephoto periscope camera of 200 MP.
Now, a new publication “confirms” this information. The new camera will allow a 10x option in the viewfinder, and this level of zoom will be achieved through a combination of optical zoom and sensor zoom. This is expected to significantly improve the quality of zoomed shots.
A 200MP periscope telephoto lens was introduced in May with the alive X100 Ultra and now it seems that Xiaomi will follow the example of the Chinese company as well.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Its main camera will use an updated version of the Sony LYT-900 sensor, according to today’s rumors, and this will bring better low-light performance compared to that of Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
There will also be a Cinematic 4K video mode, higher resolution slow-motion video and an updated selfie camera, likely 50MP.
