Xiaomi he announced the MIX Fold 4, its latest flagship foldable phone, at an event in China. The phone features a 7.98-inch 2K+ Samsung E7 LTPO internal display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate and a 6.56-inch FHD+ TCL C8+ external display that also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Both screens offer a maximum brightness of up to 3000 nits, Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The external screen is protected by Xiaomi Shield glass.
The internal screen uses Xiaomi’s advanced Pol-less Plus technology, which significantly reduces power consumption while improving brightness and color rendering. The device features a new hinge mechanism that uses high resistance materials, reducing the volume of the hinge by 34% compared to its predecessor, and the new design is 4.59mm thick when open and 9.47mm when closed.
MIX Fold 4 fully adopts “carbon fiber architecture”. The hinge, display support plate and battery are made of T800H carbon fiber, which increases durability and reduces weight.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and features a 3D cooling system with a large cooling surface of 11,912 mm². It also supports two-way satellite communication and includes the “Travel Assistant” feature.

The prices for the MIX Fold 4 are 8999 yuan (1137 euros) for the 12GB + 256GB version, 9999 yuan (1263 euros) for the 16GB + 512GB version and 10999 yuan (1389 euros) for the 16GB + 1TB version. It is already available for order and will be released in China from July 23rd.
