MediaTek is preparing to introduce the Dimensity 9400, the company’s flagship SoC, as the successor to the Dimensity 9300 in October. Previous rumors they revealed that the vivo X200 series will be the first to be powered by the chip, with the OPPO Find X8 series to follow. Now the OPPO Find X8 with Dimensity 9400 has appeared on the Geekbench list, revealing a single score of 2876 and a multi-core score of 8987.
This score is lower than the 3216 single-core and 10051 multi-core scores of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in the OnePlus 13. This also reveals 16GB of RAM and the Android 15 operating system for the phone. The vivo X200 with the model number vivo V2419A was recently spotted in benchmarks, revealing 1531 single-core and 6168 multi-core scores. Compared to this, the Find X8 scores better.
The Dimensity 9400 SoC is expected to use TSMC’s second generation N3 process with 1 x Cortex-X5 at 3.4GHz, 3x Cortex-X4 at 3.3GHz and 4 x Cortex-A720 cores at 2.4GHz. Earlier rumors said that the 9400 offers a 40% better performance compared to the Dimensity 9300 which offers 48 TOPS. The CEO of MediaTek has already said that the average selling price (ASP) of the chip Dimensity 9400 will be higher than the previous generation and actively explore the international market.
